The Ancient Story of the Great Wall
Wing Hei Katrina Chan, Group 1: Fiction, Independent Schools Foundation Academy
very long time ago, in the year 798, China was split into two lands: Evilmightland and Sweetland.
These two lands were split up by The Great Wall. There were four King and Queens that built this
wall, because they knew that the Tarantula King was going to start a war.

There were four best friends, Wing Hei, Turtle, Panda and Dog. Each had magical powers. Wing
s magic power was to protect herself and friends from anything that would hurt them, because
was so cute that her enemies always surrender when they saw her.
A
Turtle’s magic power was that he could slide very fast when someone needed to escape. Panda’s magic
power was that even though he looked fat, he was actually the fastest creature in the world because he could fly!
Dog’s magic power was that he could make himself and his friends invisible.
The Tarantula King loved to eat chocolate. The Tarantula King was so selfish that even though there used to
be chocolate in Evilmightland, he ate it all! The Tarantula King heard that Sweetland had lots of chocolate,
because the rain there was made of chocolate! The Tarantula King decided to attack Sweetland and take all their
chocolate!
Meanwhile, the four best friends were eating and enjoying their chocolate. They heard that King Tarantula
had started a war with them. King Tarantula was going to break through the Great Wall and destroy Sweetland,
taking all their chocolate! King Tarantula had a big, evil army. The four best friends started to plan how to
protect Sweetland. They planned to work together to defeat King Tarantula.
Suddenly, Panda had an idea! His idea was that Dog could use his invisible powers to bring himself and his
friends over the wall. Panda would fly with Wing Hei and appear in front of the whole Tarantula army! Because
she was so cute, the Tarantulas immediately stopped fighting and surrendered! The Turtle would then slide
quickly to the Tarantula King and say: “Why don’t we share the chocolate with you and your spiders! We don’t
have to fight!”
The Tarantula King happily nodded his big head and agreed to Turtle’s offer.
This new tale of the Great Wall tells us how important it is to share and be helpful to your friends and even
your enemies!
